its all so relative, as a scratch golfer i consider anyone who shoots in the 70s somewhat consistently a good golfer 80s is "not bad" 90s is "fun to play with" 100+ is "its going to be a long day" lmfao
I play consistently around 80 plus or minus 2, and I consider myself decent. I often play as a single and rarely get outplayed. I played a round with a regular at my home course the other day and he shot 69, I was at 81. His game wasn't dramatically different. He just hit every fairway and had shorter putts he made. On my lowest day (76) I didn't feel I played well. It was a 40 / 36 and I was like…yea, ok, so what. A lot depends on the course. I still think my best round ever was an 83 at a VERY difficult course in PA. It wasn't my lowest, but I felt it was my best.
I shot a 40 on 9 holes like a month ago. After a YEAR of playing everyday. Didn't lose a single ball. I thought, "Man, I FINALLY figured this out." Next round I shot 105. (On 18.)
People ask "why do people play golf"? It's because once a season, you have a great 9 or 18 like that, it's like crack, you want to do it again so you keep playing in hopes to get two good 9 or 18 holes next year and so begins your fascination with golf. Oh, and us guys like to be out in nature looking for stuff aka our golf ball.
I shot a 73, 3 weeks ago. Was 6 under on the front 9 then it all went to absolute shit on the back 9. 1 eagle 4 birdies 4 par on the front. back 9, 1 birdie, 1 par, 3 bogies, 3 doubles bogies. Worst thing about it is I'm usually +5 or 6 on the front and level on the back.
If he hit well on the back 9 he'd have a 72 and thats a 0 on the score card (for most courses in the PGA) so not bad at all. Essentially if you are hitting under 80 consistently you have a chance to become pro
I just watched happy Gilmour 2, and it truly does play tribute to the original, it's a really fun movie and doesn't bulldoze or overshadow the original. It actually gave me a great deal of nostalgia ❤
Golfers have the silliest clothes…I am not a golfer, I think golf is the smartest of all stupidity. A man to roam around a perfect peace of grass without a wife, just talking shit with his best mates. How else was golf invented? Family guy “no blacks no Jews” kinda holds up except tiger…. Golf was invented by guys trying to get away from women. Everything sucked when women started becoming better at that “sport” at club level. Not the same with football or basketball, unless you get a controversy like with Sam Kerrr!
My grandpa was a scratch golfer. 3 days before he passed I shot the best round of my life. For me an 83 was an incredible round. I told him on his deathbed I shot an 83 and it was for him. He turned to me looked me right in the eyes and said. " That's a fk of allot of bogeys ken". Love you Gramps
Back when I played a lot in the 80's/90's we would always say "I just want to play bogey golf". Then we were able to play bogey golf we would get pissed because we were playing so crappy. To this day it's the same. I can shoot a 90 which is bogey golf, not horrible, not great, and just be so mad because I leave so many strokes on the course.

Thanks for the birthday present by the way Adam 😂
Any European hears an americans golf score and they add 5 to it 😂

Its like happy gilmore was your front 9 and happy gilmore 2 was your back 9, shite
Just drove by Manchester Country Club as I watched this, small world.

I'm still proud of my 96……
Or a lady…I love this person!

around 100 is average but shooting is 80s is just the onset addiction of not having any money 😂
70 at MCC is no joke iykyk
Goals, assists, penalty minutes and strokes in your best puck 'n golf games…. for other hockey golf combos.
Never broke 100, but had just as much fun as anybody.
You know I love Adam but did you hear him say that he rode out Covid in Hawaii playing golf everyday? Thats how the liberal elite suffer. Never again
That’s so cool they got David Blaine to interview him!
Holy fuck Manchester country club I play there 😮
Happy g 2 sucked

This short story was 1000% better then his new movie happy Gilmore 2
No idea what any of those numbers mean

HE ruined a classic with happy gilmore 2
So when a random guy shoots an 82 it’s good but when I shoot a 37 in a dark alleyway it’s a problem
Can someone explain getting a 36 in bball terms?
34-37 for a 71 on a small English course. Course was made in 1850, and the LONGEST par 4 was 270 yards. Par was 66, so I was five over.
Who was the annoying lady constantly talking over Adam

I can do a solid 36-40 on 9 but 18 I am more like a mid to high 80s
The movie sucked. They tried way too hard. Such a shame.
Stop wearing basketball shorts….your like my fat friend in the winter

Dude, the 36 front 9 and then blowing up on the back is just the quintessential golf experience
A bogey a hole is very good, anything under 100 is considered prettt decent to me
Problem is everyone that tells you they shoot an 82 really shoots mid 90s so you need aomeone telling you they shoot mid 70s
One of the most down to earth and loyal people in Hollywood. He didn't let it go to his head and has kept his friends employed.
What about the pizza parties Adam?
Sandler fits in so well with Zach and Bryan lol. Almost feels like he does this with them every day
I shoot a consistent 86/87. I played Tpc Deere run this June and shot an 88!

My father shot a 63 on 18 holes, yesterday. Shot 65 twice this year and regularly shoots par or better. He is 43. Believe it or don’t 🤷♂️
0:48 Claire Dunphy, Is that you 😆
Over par????
Asmon, love your content but you put off homeless vibes even with an $800 mic in front of your face.
