While this is impressive to the average baseball fan, if you are a good baseball player it just happens without really even thinking about it. Similar to a good shooter in basketball lining up the seams before shooting in a split second because it rotates easier after release, cutting through the air better and going straighter more consistently than if you don’t line up the seams.
