In Round 3 of the John Wick finale at Triumph Fight Academy, things got real when a pistol entered the fight. Suits, grappling, and sudden violence-this was no ordinary match and we loved getting to be a part of it!
Round 1: Pure grappling.
Round 2: A blade enters the chat.
Round 3: Pistol with blanks for the finish.
It ended in a draw, and the gentleman’s war was definitely unforgettable. @mlabellplus3 scored the blade kill @lukebaker_bjj landed the pistol kill. These two came to put in the work! Much respect!

As a okay grappler if I was the guy on attack I would’ve got his arms like the guy did but instead of letting go on the roll I would rolled with and from there,there’s quite a bit open

Its really about who gets the upper hand first. It doesn't matter if you have a gun if you can't use it. It doesm't matter if you can disarm someone if you are already shot. Yes, it can help. Will it be fail safe? No.

The most important factor i can identify here as to why that dude won is because the ref (or whoever) threw the gun from behind the other guy, which is absurd UNLESS they specify a specifc place the gun will always emerge from…..
