The only way to control a spinning kick is if the opponent knows it’s coming in a drill and the person kicking doesn’t go full range practice slow and speed up but just light sparring is taps touches and leg kicks

From initial thought, the kid looks like he’s just trying to show off for the camera and doesn’t expect to land flush, as you can see from the shock on his face. Don’t think he meant to hurt him. Other comments are saying he was shouting out his instagram after that, that’s an asshole move if he did.
I don't think using this technique is wrong but you should only do it if you have control. I have tagged people in the face with kicks(spinning kicks & jumping kicks too)many times but i have never unintentionally rocked anyone. That's a sign of a low level fighter.
The camera brings out the true them they start looking for crumbs of attention around every situation. Once camera is on its like its time to grab some eyes and that makes them do some dumb shit.
