Why is this clown given the time of day? Why are rich blacks the most racist to black people? I love baseball. I’m black. I love it because my dad raised me to love it. I’m 31. We watched the draft when he was in town a couple of years ago. This guy was never a father just a trainer of his children.

Because they know blacks complain more than anyone so it is ALL about not wanting to be called a racist. And since blacks live, and die, and put their skin color in front of every word they speak, corporations feel they have to bend to the mob. If you put every single black in the US in all these positions, they still would only make up 13%. I am so sick of people not calling out racist like Al, Joy Reid, pretty much every democrat, for their intentional manipulation of the numbers in order to complain. Sanders hit the nail on the head!

Being afro latino, baseball was always in my world lol. I didn’t even like the sport growing up cuz I learned to play with friends not because of my father (who wasn’t present). Tons of coaches would see people like me as their chance at hitting big lmao. I played baseball in hug school and wasn’t decent, but it doesn’t bring the fame and love that football and basketball bring in school lol. Baseball is dying and idk why. It’s such a great sport.

1) A major factor has to do with the fact that baseball is no longer America's pastime so exposure to baseball for black kids comes later in life because there aren't many little league baseball teams in urban areas.
2) Fathers tend to teach their sons the games that they played and love.
3) Black kids don't grow up wanting to go to the MLB because there's more money to be made in football and basketball especially with the notable shoe deals and other major endorsements that are less common in baseball.

All my uncles, cousins, brothers and Daddy played baseball….and we straight up hood. My dad even coached a girls team for years. We all walked to the baseball field.

I don't agree with this. There was a time when baseball was VERY popular in the hood. Y'all forgot about 'Hardball' already? Ken Griffey Jr. ? Bonds? Thomas? The MLB did most of its outreach programs far from the hood, usually in Asia or the Caribbean. That's got a lot to do with it.
