13. There was a great shop in the Austin/San Antonio area (Verts). Early on it was delicious, not what I ate in Turkey, but the flavors were absolutely in the right direction and the closest thing I've had in the US. I assume business was slow and the new management went full on Texas and stuffed insane portions in and weird sauces that made ZERO sense and had no relation whatsoever to the authentic food. In San Antonio at least I think it was just a shit location. Hopefully someone who knows how, gives it another shot.
